A Few Reasons to Recycle Your Xerox 6350 Toner
Every year, experts estimate that over a billion printer cartridges, such as Xerox 6350 toner, are used around the world. Well over half of these products are used in America alone each year. Unfortunately, far too many of these products are simply thrown away and end up taking up huge amounts of space in landfills across the country and world. In fact, only a small percentage of cartridges like the Xerox 6350 toner are ever recycled.
This is a terrible statistic, since most of these products can be outright reused, or otherwise remanufactured in some way. Instead, they are filling up hole in our planet and taking over a thousand years to decompose and break down, due mainly to the high quality plastics used in production.
Instead of just throwing these products away, there are two options. Many people choose to refill their own ink cartridges. This can be a very inexpensive way to keep your printers running, and it is surprisingly easy. Unfortunately, it can take up valuable time. On the other hand, there are recycling programs ready to take your used printer parts. Many stores offer recycle bins that you can just throw your old and used up products in next time you go to purchase new cartridges.
Another good idea is to search online for companies that will actually pay you for your spent printer and copier cartridges. Although some used products are only worth a few dollars, others may be worth upwards of twenty or even thirty dollars. Not only is this a great incentive and the perfect way to keep printing costs down in a very competitive time, it is also a very easy way to do your part in striving for a more environmentally responsible and sustainable world to live in for future generations.
